Transition to Primary School

 

Staff are more than happy to discuss your child’s readiness for school at any stage during the Kindergarten year.   We are also able to access the PreSchool Field Officer from Manningham Council if further support or advice is required.

During Term 4 families receive a detailed Transition Statement which is compiled by your child’s Kindergarten teacher.  This is also provided to your selected school (with your permission), becoming a link between Kindergarten and school.

Our staff work closely with local primary schools with visits from, or meetings with, Foundation teachers during Term 4.
