3 year old preschool program

Red group is our dedicated program for 3-4 year old children. The group attends Wednesdays and Fridays, 8.15am-3.45pm. There are 26 children in the group, which is run by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and two Co-educators.

The curriculum is planned to ensure each child feels welcomed into the Kindergarten, working collaboratively with families to ensure a positive transition to Kindergarten.   Each day, purposefully planned experiences support each child’s learning and development, which is documented throughout the year for each child with a portfolio. The curriculum also includes special visitors, such as drama workshops and animal encounters. 

Music and movement experiences are part of each day, encouraging the children to join together at times. “Mothball” is a lovely addition to the program, where children take a toy and book home to share with their families, then share their experiences with friends at Kindergarten on return.

Active and quiet times are purposefully planned throughout the day, to support each child’s wellbeing. Individual mattresses are available for children to rest or sleep on as needed.
