Jen has been teaching in early childhood settings for over 20 years, working with both 3 and 4 year old groups, in community based and independent settings. She has a Diploma of Teaching (Early childhood education), Bachelor of Teaching (Early childhood education) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies (Gifted development).
Jen loves the challenge of making children’s learning visible, documenting learning through photography and the children’s voices. Music and movement is another area she enjoys planning for, along with developing a strong sense of community within the group and Kindergarten.
Jen’s caring, gentle nature immediately puts children at ease and the strong bond she forms with each child enables them to flourish.

Teresa has close ties with the Park Orchards community, having lived in the area for many years. She highly values the relationships she develops with the kinder children and their families. She has a Certificate III in Children’s Services and has been working at the Kindergarten for six years.
Teresa brings a love of animals to the program. She also enjoys visual art experiences, regularly contributing her ideas to the program.
Educator, 4 year old program (Blue group), Certified Supervisor
Kara has been working as a Kindergarten teacher since the start of 2017. She completed a Master of Teaching Early Childhood and has previously worked in a council Kindergarten with 4 year old groups.
She loves helping children to grow and learn through providing meaningful relationships and experiences. She enjoys planning and implementing a Kindergarten program, to meet the diverse needs of the group of children she works with.

Amy has been working in a range of children’s services since 2001 and particularly enjoys working with 3 and 4 year old children. Along with a Diploma in Children’s Services, Amy has a Diploma in Fine Arts and Design, sharing her talents with children and other educators. She also volunteers her time supporting literacy programs at school.
Amy enjoys the opportunity to ensure every child feels secure and happy at Kindergarten. Her warm and gentle nature supports each child to develop a sense of belonging. She enjoys celebrating their achievements – big or small, having chats with them about their world or just helping them to belong in the big world of Kinder!
Educator, 3 year old program (Red group), Certified Supervisor
Amy has been working with children for the past 15 years. She has experience working with early childhood children in center based care and sessional kindergarten services, as well as with school age children both in the classrooms and OSHC services. She has been working in Park Orchards Kindergarten for 7 years in both 3 and 4 year old teaching roles. She has a Bachelor of Education – Primary and a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching.
Amy believes it is vital to create warm and respectful relationships with children and their families. She has commitment to providing quality outcomes so that every child reaches their full potential; and develops life-long skills.
Amy provides a quality education program giving opportunity for intentional teaching foci as well as children’s emerging interests. She loves to provide aesthetically pleasing environments and learning spaces, setting up inspiring play areas for children to engage with their learning environments.

Jennie is an experienced, long term staff member of Park Orchards Kindergarten, having worked with children in our 3 year old groups for over 20 years. Jennie has a Certificate III in Children’s Services.
Jennie loves working with young children as they are eager to learn, discover and because they enjoy new challenges. She loves their energy and enthusiasm.
